Tofu with Chicken Carrot Tahini

Ingredients

 

Medium-firm tofu, cut into a perfect square shape, about 6cm on each side 10 pieces

1 piece boneless chicken thigh, finely diced 

1 carrot, finely diced

1 sprig parsley, stems only, finely diced

1 teaspoon white pepper  

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon sesame paste

½ cup chicken stock

1 tablespoon corn flour

2 tablespoon rice wine

1 teaspoon sesame oil

Preparation:

Combine all ingredients (except tofu) and mix well in a bowl.   

 

Place cut tofu onto a large plate. Spoon 1-2 tsp chicken and vegetable mixture on top of each piece of cut tofu. When water comes to a rolling boil, place the tofu in the steamer for 20-25 minutes or steam until the tofu and chicken mixture is cooked. Drizzle with sesame oil before removing steamed tofu from steamer.

 

Serve immediately.
